LAMC, as I had noted in my last post , LAMC is the only major conference geared toward Spanish-language alternative music, now in its ninth year. Ok, by now you've seen the Ignition press release, and read the Billboard article . I thought I'd provide a bit more thoughts. Today Microsoft is announcing a new program designed to help new artists, Ignition . Billboard has the story (via Reuters - thanks Damien for the pointer). Also, check the press release . The program kicks off with one of my favorite acts, Maximo Park .
